Base Computer Skills

A base level of computer skills are required for Administrator training and further responsibilities of setting up a Digital Wall Chart. They include:

  1. A good understanding of using a browser on your computer. This could be a Windows, Mac, or anything with a browser. Setting up multiple tabs, creating different browser sessions, etc…

  2. Concepts of connecting your computer to the internet. The Wall Chart is cloud based and therefore connecting via wi-fi, hard line or tethering via a phone or hotspot.

  3. Often you will need to provide support to your users of the Wall Chart, therefore the ability to setup screen sharing and communication using the internet. This involves tools like MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom, etc…

  4. A base understanding of using email addresses to verify and authorize users.



Completion of the Basic End User Wall Chart Course

A 30 minute course for the end user of the Wall Chart. Should take 30 minutes and can be found at the AsInt Academy.

You will need to create a login on the AsInt academy to access the course and track progress.



Prerequisite skills for setting up a Digital Wall Chart

The below are skills and experience required for setting up and managing a Digital Wall Chart as an Admin.

1 - MS Excel basic data management such as sorting, filtering, formatting, etc..

2 - MS Excel intermediate skills for searching and updating data. Examples if this these include VLOOKUP HLOOKUP functions.

3 - 3 Hour Admin Training course provided by AsInt Academy. These are self-paced, but AsInt can also provide a guided live course. The course provides:

  1. User Security and Setup, inclusive of troubleshooting users

  2. Primary Wall Chart Functions

  3. Setup of an Owner/User, Equipment, and Turnaround

  4. Configuration of the Turnaround (x and y columns) of Component Groups, Activities, and Work Requests

  5. Bulk Export and Import of Equipment, Activities, and Scope
