Concept
AsInt worked hard to ensure the user does not have login to the App. By default, the App understands who you are based on the token, or unique key, the user used when downloading the App from the app stores.
Only if the user would like to expose who they are to participate in “Groups”, the user can provide the email with the Application Settings -> Support Information -> Email.
Note: Please note the above identify management does not work for Windows related devices. For Windows, the user will use a PIN and Email approach.
Identity management on iOS, Android, and Windows
iOS Device (Apple) - Apple Cloud ID is used to remember who you are, no matter if you are on a iPhone or iPad.
Android (Google) - Google Token ID s used to remember who you are, no matter if you are on a phone or tablet.
Windows - Due to corporate restrictions, AsInt chose to use an Email and PIN approach for the Windows version of the app.
No matter which device you are access your data from (e.g. phone or tablet), the data follows the user based on the method the user logged unto the app. This ensure the user still sees their data, no matter if you are on your iPhone or iPad.
Sharing who you are to allow for additions to Groups
In order to be added to another users Group, you must register yourself on the network by telling the App who you are. This is performed by:
Opening the App and tapping the cog wheel in the upper left to access the Application Settings.
Within Application Settings, tap “Support Information”
Provide an Email address.
The email address you enter will allow another Group Owner to add you to their group so you can see and edit the data.
