Prerequisites

Really simple!

  1. Make sure you have the app downloaded from either Apple, Google, or Windows Appstore. Just navigate to any of these app stores and search “AsInt” and download the CORE Inspection App.

  2. Have this web page open to talk you through 12 simple training steps!



Step 1 - Create a Group

1 - Open the App

2 - On the top, tap the “Selected Group” bar, by default it will be on your last accessed Group.

3 - Tap the “+” button the Groups screen and provide a name, tap “Save”.

4 - Tap the newly created Group, the App will switch you to this Group. The App will now take you back to the Asset Library with the newly created Group.

Note: The group is defaulted with sample assets that can be deleted, as well Application settings that can be changed.

Step 2 - Create an Asset

1 - While on the main screen “Asset Library” of the group you just created, tap the “+” button in the upper right.

2 - Provide some basic information:

  • Asset Name = Your choice

  • Description = Your choice

  • Plant/Unit = Your choice

3 - Tap “Save”

Note 1: You can fill out all of the fields, but the only required field is the Asset Name.

Note 2: You can also customize these fields within the Application Settings.

Step 3 - Browse by Group

1 - While on the Asset Library, the user can browser by Group. Tap “Plant/Unit”.

2 - Expand the Groups until you see your asset you created.

3 - Select the Asset to take you to the Locations and Inspection screen.

4 - User is presented with the Location and Inspection screen for data entry.

Step 4 - Search within the Group

1 - On the Asset Library, tap “Plant/Unit” group again. If you like, choose another option to browse by.

2 - Tap the “Search” icon in the upper right.

3 - Type “v” as a free text, as you type the list if assets are filtered based on the fine.

Step 5 - Create a Location

1 - Use the skills to navigate to your Asset you created, tap the Asset to view the Locations and Inspections screen.

2 - While on the Location screen, tap the “+” button in the upper right to add to add a location.

3 - Provide some basic information about the Location

  • Location = Your choice

  • Description = Your choice

4 - Tap the “<“ back button to save the location.

Note: It’s up to you if you would like to perform a Tmin, MAWP, or add phots.

Step 6 - Create an Inspection

1 - Use the skills to navigate to your Asset you created, tap the Asset to view the Inspections screen.

2 - Tap the “+” button in the upper right to add an inspection.

3 - Provide some basic details about the Inspection:

  • Description = Your choice

  • Inspector = Your choice

  • Date of Inspection = Your choice

  • Type = Select “Fixed Equipment External” from the list

Step 7 - Fill checklist details

1 - Tap the “Form” tab.

2 - Expand the “Check-list” section

3 - Select any checklist item to drill down into the details of the checklist. Provide the following values then tap the “< list“ back button.

  • Condition = Your choice

  • Findings = Your choice

  • Comments = Your choice

Note: The Condition, Findings, and Priorities can be configured within the Application Settings -> Checklist Attributes.

4 - On the check-list view you will see the value recorded.

Step 8 - Create a Recommendation at the Checklist Level

1 - Go back to the checklist item you were working on in Step 7 and tap the “Recommendations” row.

2 - Tap the “+” on Adhoc recommendations and provide a value and provide the following values:

  • Description = Your choice

  • Status = Cannot define until they defined in the Application Settings -> Checklist Attributes -> Recommendation Status. Typically these are Submitted, Accepted, Rejected, etc…

3 - Tap the “<“ button to navigate back to the checklist item details. A Recommendation # will auto generate.

4 - The Recommendation # is show.

Note: Predefined recommendations are created in the Application Settings - > Inspection Types -> Type -> Choose Inspection Type -> Recommendations. For newly created groups, none are predefined.

Step 9 - Create a Recommendation at the Inspection Level

1 - On the Inspection “Form” tab, select the “Recommendation” row.

2 - The screen for the Recommendation is exactly the same as the Recommendation on the Check list item. Using the skills learned in Step 8, add a Recommendation to the Inspection level.

Step 10 - Add an image

1 - On the Inspection you’ve been working on, tap the Photos tab and tap the “+” button in the upper right.

2 - An option will appear to choose from Gallery, or take a Picture.

3 - You will be prompted for compression options.

4 - The image will be shown as part of the report.

Step 11 - PDF the Inspection Report

1 - On the “Info” tab of the Inspection, tap the “Share” button an options will be presented based on the device to save, print, or share the PDF.

2 - A PDF of the report is generated, inclusive of images and recommendations.

Step 12 - Add a user to your group

You can now share your data with another user of the app by following the below steps. If you get stuck, follow this short video.

1 - Back on the Asset Library, choose your “Group” you had defined in Step 1.

2 - Tap the “i” info button next to your Group name.

(tap image to enlarge)

3 - You can now add someone to your group by email using the “search” function.

Once they show, tap the “+” button.

Note 1: The user you are adding has to have filled in an email address in the Application Settings -> Support Information -> Email.

Note 2: You are the Group owner, only you can add and remove users to the group created.

4 - The new user added should be able to see your group. Ask the user if they can see your group by tapping the “Selected Group” option on the Asset Library.
