The purpose of the recommendations are to track recommended items a various states (approved, submitted, etc..) at either the Checklist Item level of the overall Inspection Level.

Per recommendation, you can track

• Status (predefined, but can be changed in the Application Settings -> Checklist Attributes -> Recommendation Status

• Commment

• Photo/image

• Recommendation Number

Pre-defined recommendations can be created within the Application Settings per Inspection Type. These are defined in Application Settings -> Inspection Types -> Type -> Choose Type -> Recommendations -> Tap “+” button.

Ad-hoc recommendations are recommendations not pulled from the pre-defined list. users can create ad-hoc recommendations with free text on the fly.

Each recommendation, no matter pre-defined or ad-hoc receives a unique number for tracking purposes. The number is auto-generated when at either the Checklist Item level, or Inspection level after the user defined the recommendation.

The user can create an ad-hoc recommendation, or pulled from the pre-defined list of recommendations, at the checklist item level.
