Prerequisites

  1. SAP Intelligent Asset Management suite tenant configured.

  2. URL published for users to access.

  3. Either a SAP ID, or another LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocal) authentication setup, such as Active Directory or O365.

Step 1 - Confirming your SAP ID User ID and Credentials

Tapping the below link, you will be guided through a SAP ID login process to confirm your User ID and Password (credentials).

Below are the screen samples to guide you through the process. If you cannot login due to credential issues, please contact the person who setup your SAP ID.

You will know you have successfully logged in when you see your SAP profile (2nd image below).

Log into the SAP ID Service

Once you successfully login, you will see your SAP ID profile to manage.

You can also change your password, set company information, etc..on your SAP ID profile.



Step 2 - Logging into the SAP IAM (Intelligent Asset Management Suite)

Now that you have verified your SAP ID is working, the next step is to log into the SAP Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) suite.

This is browser based, so all you’ll need is the URL provided by your System Administrator. Additionally, suggest using any browser except Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Once you have the URL for the SAP IAM suite, the below login will be presented. Use your SAP ID and Password and tap “Log In”.



Step 3 - Confirming your Role Permissions work

The final step is to confirm you have the correct permissions setup within the SAP IAM suite to see the various Apps.

Once you login, and you see the “Processes”, “Master Data”, and “Mechanical Integrity” groups at the top of the page, you are good to go! This confirms you have the correct permissions set.
