How the templates work together

The data flow can be mapped to achieve a bi-directional data exchange from:

  1. Equipment Template to Inspection Template and vice versa

  2. Equipment Template to RBI Template and vice versa

  3. Equipment Template to CML Template and vice versa

This process allows for data, or SAP Attributes and Indicators, to use the Equipment record as the central proxy for data exchange between the various nodes. Note, not all values from Inspections, RBI, and CML templates need to be passed back to the Equipment template, the data can reside at the node level (e.g. Inspection, RBI, CML, etc..).

The below is an example of how the various templates interact with the central Equipment Template. In this case:

  1. The “Vessel” is the Equipment Template

  2. “External Inspection” and “External Inspection” as Inspection Templates

  3. “CML UT” and “CML RT” are CML Templates

  4. “RBI 5813rd” and “RBI Qualitative” are RBI Templates
